Programmi Croazia

Dubrovnik to Split

Day 1
Airport transfer to our brand new boat.
Installing our bike and sailing to island of Mijet.
Visit the old city of Dubrovnik, a world heritage site.

Day 2
Tour the green wooded National Park Island of Mijet. 43km on mostly asphalt road.
We will see the 12th century St. Mary Monastery, on an Island inside an inner lake.
Mijet is a national park and one of the highlights of every Adriatic journey. The local pine forest is one of the most beautiful of its kind in the entire Mediterranean region.

Day 3
A 34km off-road tour of the famous wine growing Island of Pelješac.
Pelješac impresses visitors even from afar with its Sv. Ilja Mountain which rises almost 1000 meters from the sea. We will visit and taste the famous local wines.

Day 4
A 34km run on asphalt and gravel while touring Korčula Island.
A pleasant stroll and through the alleys of the beautiful town of Korčula.

Day 5
Ride up unpaved roads to the highest point on Hvar Island (628 meter) and a technical downhill to Stali Gradt. (45km).
Visit the city of Hvar with its Renaissance square lined with the cathedral and late gothic palaces. Today’s first cycle route leads us on unpaved roads up to the pass and using a technical challenging downhill to Stari Grad. The boat will cruise to harbors of Jelsa and Vrboska In the evening we will visit the port city of Stari Grad, enjoying its unique artistic atmosphere and many galleries.

Day 6
Our visit of Brac Island. starts in Pučišća with an asphalted road to Postira through vineyards, mulberry, kiwi , and olive groves. We will ride the long ridge of the island on a gravel road and then decend to . We follow with a technical descent to Bol with amazing panoramic views of the neighboring island Hvar. Total of 33km, mostly off-road.
Relaxed day on board the boat, enjoy the sea and our large sundeck, but don’t forget your sun-screen!
Overnight stay in the picturesque harbor of Račišće.
 
Day 7
An easy 17km flat ride on the Island of Solta with its picturesque vineyards, olives and orchards.
Packing the bike for the return trip.
Visit the world heritage city-island of Trogir, one of Croatia’s touristic jewels. Stroll through its narrow alleys and wrap up your shopping before the return home.

Day 8
Transfer to Split Airport.
 

Split to Dubrovnik

Day 1
A quick transfer from the airport to the boat waiting for us in Trogir Harbor.
Visit the world heritage city-island of Trogir, one of Croatia’s touristic jewels.
 
Day 2
An easy 17km flat ride on the Island of Solta with its picturesque vineyards, olives and other orchards.
A calm day with swimming, sunbathing and getting to know everyone on board.

Day 3
Our visit of Brac Island. starts in Pučišća with an asphalted road to Postira through vineyards, mulberry, kiwi , and olive groves. Bozburun and Datça

Day 1
Unpacking and Installing the bikes with the help of our guide. Time permitting; we will do a short ride near Bozburun, just to tune our mountain bikes and the engine…
A 2.5 hour transfer from Dalaman airport to the Gulet. View of the resort city of Marmaris followed by a drive to the boat which is awaiting us at the far-from-the-crowd village of Bozburun. Getting to know the group and a festive dinner to kick off the vacation.
 
Day 2
Gradual 400 meter climb from Bozburun to Marmaris Peninsula’s mountain ridge. Breathtaking sea & mountain views and a taste of old local villages. Savoring the local honey, and seasonal fruits such as figs, cherries, pomegranates, nuts and more. A total of 33km on asphalt plus a 4km single in dense forest.
A visit to the mountainous village of Bayer with its famous 1,900 year old tree. Meeting the bikers for joint lunch and a refreshing dip into a charming river and waterfall.A visit in a carpet factory shop, and a walk through a honey-making village.
 
Day 3
Gentle morning ride along a flat forest way followed by steep 200 meter climb up an asphalt road. Gliding down into a beautiful valley towards our river-side morning break. Sea-side asphalt ride with breathtaking blue panoramas. Joining our boat, nestled in a hidden fjord-like bay.
This is our easiest day (25km) so as to fully appreciate the amazing landscape and give an opportunity for the non-riders to join in and enjoy this gentle scenic ride with the help of our support vehicle.
For those who prefer to stay on board you will enjoy a pleasant sail to the hidden fjord where we will meet together before lunch time. We will then anchor by a tiny rock for late lunch, swim, snorkeling and kayaking.

Day 4
Crossing the Datcha peninsula mountain ridge in a forest way including two short climbs. Panoramic sea views of both north and south shores of the peninsula. Lunch break for swimming and several refreshing stops by water springs. Total of 27km off road.
Optional tour to Marmaris, including the local market and harbor promenade, Turkish Hamam and massage.
Night docking at the Datcha harbor. Visit to the local shops, and charming dockside cafes and bars.

Day 5
Weather permitting, an optional early morning asphalt road ride to 400 meter elevation and a spectacular panoramic glide on a forest spiral down to sea level where we will meet the rest of the riders. (Extra 27km, hardy riders).
Sailing along the southern coast of Datcha Peninsula.
Meeting the riders for joint visit to the ancient Greek city of Knidos. We will walk through its magnificent ruins while our guide briefs us of its glory history and the famous Venus statue.

Day 6
Gradual 16km climb to 350 meter through forest way. Scenic mountain top view of the entire north shores of Bozburun peninsula. A fast 14km glide down through dense forest to our boat. A classic 30 km off-road delight!
Sail from Knidos to Orhania and a visit in this charming village.
Once the riders join us we will raise anchor for a short sail to the ruins on the island of Kameriye. After a short visit to the local ancient church, we will enjoy a romantic sunset sail to the village of Selimiya

Day 7
8km steep off-road ride to the mountain overlooking Selimiye and a technical decent to the village of Bozburun.
For those with spare energy there is a beautiful optional road ride to the untouched fishing village of Sogut (15km round trip).
Shopping and visiting the charming boutiques and cafes of Selimiye.
A short sail to our home port of Bozburun, where we can round up any unattended shopping in its diverse shops and boutiques.
A joint guided tour to the traditional family owned Gulet shipyards.

Day 8
Transfer to Dalaman airport.
